I stand atop a mountain, overlooking a great vast sea,
turbulent and roaring, so different and apart from Thee.
Angry storms are raging, the mass is heartlessly thrown,
still down beneath the surface, this higher evil cannot be known.
Nonetheless, eddies, and currents, bring each element up into the mix,
and then, and there, only you, great God, can render that peaceful fix.
Like in those depths, so quiet and cool, before the cause came to rise,
that peace you give, fills all of space, and calms life’s turbulent cries.
Jehovah, great God, I thank you, that your peace is manifested so:
I may swim, in the depths, of your mercy and grace,
which is fellowship with you to know.
…
Thank you for making a way great savior God…
